Watermelon is not only great on a hot summer day, this delectable thirst-quencher may also help quench the inflammation that contributes to conditions like asthma, atherosclerosis, diabetes, colon cancer, and arthritis. Watermelon is fat free and is a source of vitamins A, B6, C, and provides thiamin and potassium and fiber.

Watermelon contains the photochemical lycopene which gives watermelon its red color, thus, the redder the watermelon, the more lycopene it contains. Watermelon contains high levels of lycopene-an antioxidant that may help the body fight cancer and prevent disease.

 

Ingredients(400 ml.)

  • 4 cups Seedless watermelon (put in fridge 2-3 hours)
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Minced mints

Directions
